Terms of sale — Buyers

Buying inspected second-hand items: ordering, cash on delivery, delivery times, warranty and returns.

Items offered on MATOS MARKET belong to individual or professional sellers and are sold by MATOS, which inspects them, collects payment and ships them. Your single point of contact is MATOS customer service.

1. Inspected second-hand items

  • Every item is physically inspected by MATOS before going online. Its condition follows a common scale: Sealed new, Like new, Very good, Good, Fair, For parts.
  • Defects reported by the seller or found by MATOS are shown on the listing.
  • “MATOS certified” items have passed full workshop tests; their grade and test report are published on the listing.

2. Ordering and payment

  • You order online, just like on matos-algeria.com. The MATOS team confirms the order by phone.
  • Payment is made on delivery (or with the payment methods offered at checkout). You never pay the seller directly.
  • Every second-hand item is unique: a confirmed order reserves the item.

3. Estimated delivery times

  • Item in stock at MATOS: shipped within 24 to 48 h after confirmation, delivered in 1 to 5 business days depending on the wilaya.
  • Item kept by the seller: the seller has 48 h to hand it to MATOS, which checks it before shipping; allow 3 to 7 business days in total.
  • The estimated delivery window is shown on each listing. If the seller cannot hand the item over, the order is cancelled at no cost and you are told immediately.

4. Warranty

  • Certified items: 30-day MATOS warranty from delivery, covering faults not caused by misuse.
  • All items: conformity guarantee. An item that does not match its listing (condition, operation, accessories) is taken back.
  • Any remaining manufacturer warranty is shown on the listing.

5. Withdrawal and returns

  • You have 7 days after delivery to report a problem to MATOS customer service.
  • The item must be returned complete and in the condition it was received. The MATOS seal, if present, must not be removed.
  • After checking, MATOS exchanges or refunds the item.

6. Personal data

Your details are only used to deliver and follow up your order. They are never passed on to the seller.
